Teamwork can mean a lot of different things. When we thought of a title for our program for this year we wanted a program that would enrich you spiritually and enhance your practice with your office team, with your colleagues, and your specialists.
When we talk about Teamwork we mean different things. For example a team is a group of people with a shared purpose. A team should have a deadline or a goal. For others, a team must also embody some degree of co-operative working. If we are really serious about improving teams and teamwork in your practice as well as in our personal life then we needs to focus on what we actually want.
And then there is Magic which is the art of entertaining by performing something amazing that has been achieved. We are Magicians in our practice by giving our patients the ultimate in dental care and our team the magic of knowledge.
So the Magic of Teamwork is the joint effort, the collaboration, cooperation, fellowship, and team spirit that we give to one another in our every day lives.
Our journey this year begins with a 2 day leadership retreat by Greg Zlevor, lecturer to GE, Arthur Anderson, etc; Mr. James Cathcart of FranklinCovey teaching us the 7 habits for being effective, and ending with Dr. Richard Mitrani on Interdisciplinary Dynamics in Dentistry.
